What can the eCommerce Integration Do?
Customer Records are Synced
- Customers will first need to register an account on the TapMango widget.
- If a customer has already registered with TapMango in-store or on the app, they will still need to register on the widget. As long as they register with the same information (i.e email) their profiles will be synced.
Points Are Universal
- Points earned in-store are usable online
- Points earned online are usable in-store
Rewards Can Be Redeemed
- Rewards can be redeemed online
- Redemption happens immediately (customers cannot double dip)
- Different rewards can be offered for online and in-store
- Rewards can be restricted to customer groups
- After claiming a reward, customers use a discount code on their cart at checkout.
Personalized Look
The web widget we add to your online store can be branded, or the words can be altered. You have control over what offers/rewards appear.
Web Widget
The way we offer the integration on your website is in the form of a web widget, for the user interface. This is a piece of web code we're able to turn on and customize on our end via the integration. Customers sign into their Shopify account via this widget and can view their rewards account information.
View Available Rewards
Customers can see current, and future rewards that are earnable online. They may also 'claim' a discount code by redeeming a reward for points. Claimed points and vouchers will be immediately removed from their account
View Ways to Collect Rewards
We provide a How to Earn section. This will show earnable bonuses such as how points are earned fro spending money, referring friends, birthday offers, etc. These are based on what you have setup on your account.

View History
After your customer earns points, redeems rewards, and is issued vouchers they will begin seeing their history. This way your customer is able to clearly see when they redeemed a reward, or earned points.

Setting Up Rewards
In order for your rewards to be redeemable, first make sure they are setup for redeeming.
Setting up your Rewards to work with your Shopify Integration
If a reward is not setup properly, it cannot appear online as redeemable.
Claiming Rewards
- Customers Claim rewards once they are redeemable
- This generates a discount code in Shopify, and provides it to the customers
- Customers must copy+paste this code into their checkout when entering payment information
- If you wish, these offers can be shareable (ex: Customer A redeems a reward, but lets their friend use the discount)
- Discount codes claimed via rewards can only be used once, regardless of being shareable
- The discount code will be available to copy+paste on the cart screen, immediately before the final checkout (note: the placement of this varies based on your Shopify Theme)
