iPad Users: Stencil Vs Manager Mode
If you use the iPad application for Lightspeed (R-Series) you must use the "Manager" mode to access custom buttons which are required to redeem rewards in TapMango
To change to Manager mode:
Click Manager in the bottom right corner, and go to Sales, it will pull up a sales screen that is exactly the same as the web UI along with all of the custom menus you've created.
A button for rewards
In order to assist in attaching customers to the sale in Lightspeed, and redeeming rewards you'll need to add a custom button. It's simple to do just go through the following steps.
- In the Settings tab of your LS page, scroll down to Custom Menus under the Advanced Setup field.
- Click into the Sale Tab.
- What we want to do is add a button to the Sales page in LS. Fill out the following, and then Add Button to Menu.
- Title: Rewards
- Type: Open web page
- Color: Red
- Sort order: The order you want the button placed (optional)
- Now the button will pop up under the Buttons field below. Click the pencil option to edit the button.
- In the URL field, add the website https://portal.tapmango.com/Customer/Lightspeed and Save Changes. Leave "Open In New Tab" unchecked.
- Now the Rewards button will show in the Sales tab.
