Why use the Wallet with Lightspeed (R-Series)?
With Lightspeed (R-Series) you can use the TapMango wallet for crediting purchases. When using the wallet you're providing customers the convenience of using their accumulated store credit or TapMango gift card.
The wallet feature works well with Lightspeed if you want to do something like offering cash back rewards to customers.
How does it work?
Using wallet dollars in Lightspeed is just like redeeming a reward, and requires using Lightspeed customer profiles.

Make Sure the Customer Has A Wallet Balance
Customers would need to have a wallet balance first. See the TapMango Wallet guide for more information on loading the customer wallet.
Select the Rewards Button, and Find your Customer
Like normally redeeming a reward you want to use the Rewards button to select your customer.
Enter The Amount and Confirm
Just enter the amount to use from the wallet (or select MAX) and then click Redeem/Update Via POS to go back to lightspeed.
The amount will be added as a negative line item to the sale.
Note: If you'd prefer to have the wallet dollars be represented as a discount attached to the sale then please contact TapMango Support for assistance. However, since Lightspeed only allows a single discount on an item then you will not be able to combine other TapMango discounts while redeeming Wallet Dollars.
