Can't Keep The Browser Open!
You may find that when trying to open the Chrome or FireFox Focus browser on your tablet, it won't stay open for more than a few seconds before closing.
This issue can typically be resolved by clearing the browser's Storage Data under Settings
Go To Your Tablet Settings
- Swipe up on your screen to open your app drawer
- Click "Settings" (gear icon)
Clear The Browser Data
Once in your settings, go to "Apps" and select your browser.
- Chrome: Click Storage > Manage Storage/Manage Space > Clear All Data
- FireFox Focus: Click Storage > Clear Data
You may get a popup asking you to confirm that you want to delete your browser data - select OK
Launch Your Browser
Once you've cleared your browser's Storage Data, exit out of settings and re-open your browser. If you are struggling with finding your browser, use the steps above to open your app drawer.
