NOTE: These steps are for navigating the Samsung tablet specifically. Make sure you have your TapMango Username and Password before you proceed with the below steps. You will be prompted to log-in to the app after clearing your app data.
Clearing the TapMango app data can resolve various issue, such as the app crashing, excessive slowness, and the following error when trying to complete actions: "sorry the application crashed. A report will be sent to the developers".
We recommend contacting TapMango support before proceeding with these steps to first troubleshoot other potential causes for your tablet app issue.
1. Exit the TapMango App
- Flip the tablet to the Cashier Side and navigating to Other > System Menu > Quit.
- The passcode to exit the app is 999999.
2. Clear the App Data
- Open your tablet Settings app (gear icon).
- If you don't see it on your desktop, swipe up on your screen. This will pull up all your apps
- Once in the Settings go to Apps > TapMango app > Storage > Clear Data
3. Enable the Camera/Storage Permissions
- Once you clear your app data, the Camera and Storage permissions may get disabled, which will cause the app to start crashing.
- You can check these permissions under the same app settings (Settings > Apps > TapMango app) but this time go to Permissions.
- Enable the Camera and Storage settings if they have been disabled.
4. Launch the TapMango App
- Now you can re-open the TapMango app and login with your username and password.
- If you do not remember your password, you can send yourself a reset password link from https://portal.tapmango.com
