To allow redemption of TapMango Rewards and Vouchers directly on your POS, discount mapping must be added; think of discount mapping like a set of instructions included with each reward or voucher that tells the POS how to redeem it.
Discount Types
TapMango's POS Loyalty API currently supports redemption in-store of the following types of discounts:

Adding the Discount Mapping
The Discount Mapping tells the POS how a discount may be redeemed and allows for redemption directly on your POS for a smooth customer experience.
1. First, click Edit on an existing Reward or Voucher in your account

2. The Reward or Voucher will load on the Details tab, click on the Discounts tab and then click on the green Add Discounts button

Going forward the process is exactly the same for Rewards and Vouchers.
3. By default All Integrations is selected and you'll need to select your POS from the Integration dropdown list, it'll be tagged with (POS Loyalty API).
Note: Until a single integration is selected from the Integration dropdown, only Overall Discount (%/$) are available from the Discount Type dropdown, as these are the only discount type that could be created for "all" integrations at once. Additional settings Applies to, Does not apply to, Minimum requirement, etc appear after selecting a single integration from the list.

4. Select the discount type from the Discount Type dropdown menu and enter the value of the discount (either a % or $ amount).
5. Depending on the Discount Type selected more settings will populate for you to continue configuring the discount:
If Overall Discount is selected 2 additional settings will appear: Does not apply to, and Minimum requirement.
If Product Discount is selected 3 additional settings will appear: Applies to, Does not apply to, and Minimum requirement.
Applies to is required; if the discount will apply By Category or By Product, enter the ID(s) from your POS in the field that appears.
Does not apply to is optional; if the discount should exclude By Category or By Product, enter the ID(s) from your POS in the field that appears. Typically used to exclude a specific product from a category discount.
Minimum requirement is optional; if the sale must meet a minimum purchase amount ($) or quantity of items before the discount can be redeemed.
Once you've finished configuring the discount mapping and settings on the Reward or Voucher click the green Save button at the bottom.
| Note: Check in your POS data to find the IDs for the Products or Categories you want to map to the discount. The ID string can vary between POS brands and could be a combination of letters and numbers, only numbers or only letters. |
6. The discount mapping is saved to your Reward or Voucher and now appears on the Discounts tab!
If there are multiple locations on your TapMango account and each has its own unique POS Integration, discount mapping is needed for every POS integration.
