If your tablet doesn't have TapMango preinstalled please skip to Downloading & Installing TapMango.
Before You begin, Note Down Your Tablet Device Key For Later Reference
If your in-store POS is integrated with TapMango or you have two tablets paired together, you can use your tablets device key to confirm it remains connected after the update. Specifically if required to sign back in to the TapMango app.
You can find the device key from the merchant-facing side of the tablet and selecting Other > Device Info.
How To Exit the TapMango App
- Flip to the Cashier/Admin Side of the tablet and select OTHER > System Menu > Quit
- Enter the password 999999 (the number 9 six times)
Note: If the app is not responsive you can press and hold the power button to restart the tablet. Do not reopen the TapMango app once it restarts.

Note 1: If you miss the notification pop-up in step 4, swipe down from the top of the screen to open the Android Quick Settings notification panel. The TapMango file will appear here and you can tap on it to install. Click here to see an example image. |

Note 2:If a pop-up appears that says "For your security, your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source", click here for steps to resolve.

If TapMango is integrated with your in-store POS, after signing into the app from admin-mode go to Other > Device Info and note down the first 4 characters of the device key. Contact TapMango support to verify the tablet is paired to your POS and complete a test transaction.
