What's the Branded TapMango Application?
The Branded TapMango application is the same as our normal TapMango application but specific to your store - the App will have be listed under your business name, and have your logo as the icon. It's an extra layer of branding to make your rewards program yours
Do I need a Branded TapMango Application?
Absolutely not! It's just an added bonus. We provide a general TapMango application your customers can start using right away.
The Generic App still allows your customers to view their points, place mobile orders, and even supports branding for your business once they've selected your store.
Why do I need my own Apple Developer account?
TapMango is happy to provide the app itself at no cost, but Apple requires that you, as a business owner, create your own Apple Developer account and enroll into the Apple Developer program to have your own app hosted.

What About Android?
Google does not have the same restrictions Apple has - TapMango will submit your Android Application to the TapMango developer account instead.
Does this Cost Anything?

The mobile app is an additional paid feature, please contact support to discuss pricing and to add it to your account.
Apple
Apple does have a $99 USD / Year fee for owning an Apple developer account. This is a fee from Apple - and TapMango does not have any additional fees to develop and submit the app for you.
Android
There is no outside fee from Google for an application.
My Business Sells Vape/E-Cigarette items, is this a problem?
The Android App won't have a problem, but Apple might.
As of early 2018 Apple has taken a stance against applications that promote the use of e-cigarettes and vaping. While these guidelines are vague, from time to time Apple may reject apps that feature or are related to these products and considering it related to 'tobacco'
Section 1.4.3 - Safety - Physical Harm
While we take steps to minimize this possibility, TapMango cannot ensure that a branded app from a vape and/or e-cig shop will not be rejected under section 1.4.3 of the apple developer guidelines. Please create an apple developer account at your own risk. TapMango does not assume responsibility for any rejected apps due to products being sold by the business.
Why Do I need to Provide Admin Access for my Apple Account?
TapMango is directly submitting an application to your Apple account. Part of this requires additional work that Apple requires admin permissions in order to do. Without Admin permissions provided we will not be able to properly submit the application to your account for approval.
How Long Does It Take to get my App?
Apple
Once TapMango has been invited to your development team the Application we are able to submit the Application for review.
Apple Applications are submitted weekly on Fridays. Once submitted the app takes 1-3 business days to be approved by Apple.
Android
Android applications are much quicker. Our team needs a week to prepare the app, once submitted it's available on Google play within a few hours.
Unless requested we will submit the Android application the same time we submit Apple.
Will I be notified about my app being available?
Apple
Because you create your own Apple account - the email you've signed up with will be sent status notification emails from Apple
Android
Your Customer Success Onboarding Specialist will notify you once the android application has been submitted and is available.
My Apple App was rejected!
Sometimes applications are rejected by Apple. Typically, due to the nature of the rewards business, this is a misunderstanding on Apple's part. In this case our team will reply with an explanation.
My Apple App was rejected for violating 4.2.6
This can still happen with your own account. This may happen when your Apple account's business name is different than the business name you're operating with TapMango. If this happens you'll be required to reply with proof of business ownership for Apple.
Example
Your business is named Coffee Plus - that's what is on your store sign, and what TapMango recognizes you by - therefore your app will be Coffee Plus Rewards.
However - your business entity is registered as 123 Trading Company LLC
Apple may ask for proof that 123 Trading Company LLC owns and operates Coffee Plus
