You can upload images to your menu items to make your online ordering page more appealing to customers. You don't need images to use online ordering, but we strongly encourage it.
If you've uploaded at least one image, TapMango will show a placeholder for any items that don't have one yet. If no items have images, no placeholders appear - keeping your menu looking consistent either way.

Adding Images to Your Menu
Step 1: Go to Your Catalog① Sign in to portal.tapmango.com and navigate to Orders > Catalog. ② Select the location group that contains the menu you want to update. ③ Click on the menu. |
Step 2: Select the Menu Item④ Navigate through your categories until you see the product you wish to update. ⑤ Click on the product to open the product details page. Select Add Image. ⑥ Click on the cloud icon with the upward facing arrow to open your device's file explorer.
⑦ Select your image of choice and resize it as needed. ⑧ Click on the floppy disc icon to save the image. ⑨ Select Publish Changes when you're done and the image will go live on your ordering page |
Removing an Image

① Navigate through your menu categories until you see the product you wish to update. ② Click on the product to open the product details page. Select Clear Image. ③ Select Submit. ④ Select Publish Changes when finished and the changes will go live on your ordering page. |
Image Editor Explained
| Zoom In — Magnifies the image so you can position the crop area more precisely. | |
| Zoom Out — Reduces the zoom level so you can see more of the image. | |
| Rotate Left — Rotates the image 90° counter-clockwise. | |
| Rotate Right — Rotates the image 90° clockwise. | |
| Aspect Ratios — Resize the crop area to a specific width-to-height ratio. | |

Upload — Choose a new image from your computer to replace the current one. |
| Preview — See how the cropped image will look before saving. | |
| Save — Saves the cropped image to the menu item. |
FAQ
I updated my images in Portal but I don't see them on my live menu.
You must publish your changes after adding or removing item images. If you do not publish the changes, these changes will only exist in Portal - customers will not see them on the menu.
