- Tax Rate is the percentage of tax which the customer will be charged
Ordering Options
TapMango offers various ordering options which your customers can take advantage of. They are outlined below.
- Order Ahead
- This option is for allowing customers to order ahead of time. If enabled, customers can order into the future. This will also allow customers to order days in advanced
- Curb Side Pick Up
- This option is for allowing customers to pick up their order curb side. A customer will be asked to enter in their vehicle details and will be given an option to alert the business they have arrived
- Disable In-store Pick Up
- When enabled, this option will prevent customers from ordering to pickup in store. This is useful if you want to direct customers to ordering curb side or via delivery
- Delivery
- This option allows you to offer delivery. TapMango offers an integration with Doordash Drive, but you can also offer self delivery
- Once enabled, you will be given an option for either Self Delivery, or Third-party Delivery
- Self Delivery
- Self Delivery includes two options:
- Minimum Order Total for Delivery - This allows you to set the minimum order amount before a customer can place a delivery order
- Delivery Zones - This allows you to set delivery zones and a respective fee for each zone. The delivery zones determine how far a customer can be for the delivery to be accepted
- Self Delivery includes two options:
- Third-party Delivery
- Third-party Delivery is an integration with Doordash Drive which will handle the delivery. For setting this up, please contact TapMango for assistance.
Tips
The Tip option allows you to set some default % tips which are option boxes on the checkout screen for your customers to apply a tip quickly. Aside from the default options, the customer has the option to enter in a custom tip amount if they so choose.
You can adjust the default % or can disable tipping entirely.

Different Fee Types
Basic Rules
- Fees are location based and must be set for each location
- You may only have a single type of extra fee per location (ex: you cannot have 2 processing fees for one store)
Types of Fees
The type of fee is designed to communicate to your customer what the fee is for, as well as allow you to organize things better. The fee types do not change how the fee is charged though. Just how you classify it. Ultimately, how and what fees you choose to charge will be up to you, as a store owner.
Processing Fee |
This is more of an order processing fee - typically used to cover the costs of credit card or payment processing |
Service Fees |
This is typically used to cover handling charges. Ex: If you have a more complicated ordering process for your pick-up options and this requires some extra work for staff, a service fee may be ideal. |
