To add a different flair to your rewards program you can take advantage of the TapMango Wallet and our Cash Back feature. This works very well if you use Lightspeed or Clover integration, since we can handle using the TapMango wallet as a payment method on your sale.

How Does Cash Back Work?
Cash back is like it sounds - a percent of every payment is added to the customers wallet. You set the percent.
Don't forget about the Wallet!

How would I use this?
To keep your rewards program engaging we'd recommend not to make cash back your only rewards option. We'd still advise to give reward point on every dollar spent, however make your rewards cost much higher to compensate, and offer specific rewards instead.
This will allow your customers to get an instant gratification from cash back, but also have a goal to earn up towards at the same time.
If you're worried about customers 'double dipping' - just make a rule in your store that wallet dollars / store credit cannot be combined with a reward.
How do I set it up?
Setting up cash back requires a simple trigger / action combo. It will only take a minute to make.
Create a Campaign
- Navigate to campaigns > manage campaigns > create new
- Name your campaign whatever you want, unless this applies to certain customers only, don't worry about group or location restrictions.
- Click active and submit!
Add an Activity using the N Payments Trigger
- Click your new campaign name
- Click +Create Activity
- Choose the trigger type When Customer Makes 'N' Payments(2)
- Enter 1 for the number of payments
- Submit
Add an Action for Give Cash Back
- You should be taken back to your campaign, with a new option available
- Select +Add Action
- Choose the action type Give Cash Back
- Enter the percent you want to give back
- Ex: If you want customers to get 5% back - enter 5
- Submit
Turn it On
Finally click the 3 dots to the side and select 'Activate' to turn on your new activity. Now any time you enter a dollar amount to provide points, or we process a payment from your point of sale the customer will have a the percent you entered loaded into their TapMango wallet.
