What are Custom App Promotions?
The App Promotions tool will let you advertise deals, announcements and other content on the home tab of the App. You can create multiple Promotion tiles that customers can scroll through and tap on for more details. App Promotions can include a "call to action", where you can promote a deal in-store or through mobile ordering.
How to Create a Custom App Promotion?
First, you will need to ensure you have the newest version of the App (V3). The App Promotions feature won't work on the older V2 model. If you are unsure, you can contact TapMango's support team for assistance.
To create a Promotion, log into Portal and navigate to Campaigns > Promotion
The Promotions page will show you both active and inactive promotions along with the option to reorder them.
When creating the promotion there are 4 steps to follow:

Selecting the Channel + Mobile App Content - Limited to Mobile App at this time.
- enter in your promotion’s content. (Includes promotion title, details and image background).

Call to Action - Optional.
- Online Ordering Home Page: Creates an online ordering button below your Promotion details
- Instore: Offers instructions to order in store

Selecting your Audience
- select which customer group(s) and location(s) will be able to view this promotion

Review & Activate
- You can select the start & end date/time for when this promotion should be viewable to customers (if this is a timed promotion).
- This is also where you can mark a promotion as active/inactive
- When done with the setup, hit finish to save + complete your promotion

Managing Multiple Promotions?
Multiple promotions can be active simultaneously and customers will be able to swipe through the various promotional tiles on the app.
You have the ability to rearrange the order in which the promotions appear.
