One of the benefits of integrating TapMango with Toast is the ability to push payment processing directly to your Toast POS for Online Orders or Memberships! Putting YOU in control of refunding all payments, either in-store or on the go by logging into your Toast account.
As Toast is the payment processor, these payments cannot be refunded from TapMango but we've put together a quick guide for you with the basic steps of how to process a refund through Toast.

Go to the "Find Checks" page

There are two ways you can navigate to the Find Checks page from Toast's main menu:

• On the register or payment terminal click the 3 dot menu icon in the top right corner and select Advanced Check Search.
• From the Manager Activities, go to Find Checks & Issue Refunds.

Locate the Check

Once on the Find Checks page, choose to Find By:

• Check Number (search by TM Order #)
• ID
• Customer Info
• Credit Card
• Advanced Search

Please note to find Membership payments it's recommended to search by Customer Info and the date the membership purchase was made.

Scroll through the list until you find the transaction to void or refund.

Refund or Void the Check

Once you locate the check, you will see a blue dropdown button that says "Void" or "Refund" depending on whether the transaction was made the same day or later.

Void - reversing same-day transactions

Refund - reversing transactions from the previous day or later

Click on the blue dropdown and choose how to refund the order from the following options:

• By item(s)
• Entire Check
• Tax only
• Custom amount
