What Are Triggers?
Triggers are the how in your campaign activities - what has to happen to make something happen. TapMango offers a variety of triggers that operate in different ways, and can be used to accomplish different things.
Trigger Restrictions
Individual campaigns can be restricted to groups or locations, but so can triggers.
A trigger can be targeting a single location, or single group of customers.
What Triggers Are Available?

Time BasedTime based triggers work based on an amount of time that has passed from a specific event. This type of trigger is ideal for scheduling an action to happen, or delayed based on an event. |

Event BasedEvent based triggers happen when the specified event happens. Some of these triggers happen immediately while others happen on a daily basis. This type of trigger is ideal for a non-specific reaction or when a customer must meet specific requirements.v |

Immediately. When a customer creates an online account through customer.tapmango.com using the email and keytag the customer registered with in-store |

Immediately. When a customer successfully refers a specified number of friends. This trigger can repeat. |
| When Referred Friend Enrolls |
Immediately. When a customer signs up from being referred by a friend. This trigger will replace other when customer signs up triggers. |

Immediately. When a customer is imported to the TapMango system by the customer success team. |
| When Customer Downloads Mobile App |
Immediately. When a customer begins using the TapMango Mobile application with your store. This is in addition to When customer Signs Up on Mobile App. |

Immediately. When a customer successfully completes their online profile from the special tag [[ONLINE_SIGN_UP_URL]] |
| When Customer Purchases 'X' N time(s) | Immediately. When a customer purchases a specified TapMango Product a specific number of times. This Trigger Can Repeat. |
| When customer collects 'N purchases of 'X' | Immediately. Create a punch card program by specifying a specific TapMango Product and the number of times a customer must purchase it. See trigger for additional settings. |
| When Customer Purchases Product from Category 'X' N time(s) | Immediately. When a customer purchases products in a specified TapMango Product Category a specific number of times. This Trigger Can Repeat. |

Immediately. When a customer has a specified number of 'payments' (dollar amount entered) into the system. This Trigger Can Repeat. |
| When Customer Purchases Instant Deal |
Immediately. When a customer successfully purchases a specific instant deal. This trigger can repeat. |

Immediately. When a customer redeems a specific reward a specified amount of times. This trigger can repeat. |

Immediately. When a customer redeems a specific voucher a specified amount of times. This trigger can repeat. |

Immediately. When a customer's wallet balance falls below a specified amount. This trigger can repeat. |

Immediately. When a customer opts-in to receive text messages. |
| When Customer is Added to 'X' Group |
Daily. When a customer is added to a specified group. This trigger can repeat on a specified interval, and specified number of times. Note: Filtered customer groups will not activate this trigger. |
| When Customer is near your store |
Immediately. When a customer using the mobile application has passed through a specified radius surrounding your store a specified number of times. |
| When Customer posts on Facebook |
Immediately. When a customer completes a facebook post. This Trigger can repeat. |
| When Survey Response is Received |
Immediately. When a customer responds to a net promoter survey at a specified response range. This trigger can repeat. |
