Once TapMango is integrated with Toast, points are applied to sales automatically, removing the need for manual entry on the TapMango tablet.
You will also have the option to attach customers directly from the Toast POS, without using the customer-facing tablet at all.
Attaching Customers Directly From Toast
Step 1: Start Sale as Normal① Start your sale in Toast by adding items to the sale. |
Step 2: Look up Customer and Attach to the Sale② Navigate to Rewards > Lookup to open the rewards pop-up. ③ Look up the customer by their phone number and attach them to the sale. If the customer doesn't have an existing rewards account, see Registering Customers Through the Toast Integration. |
Step 3: Apply Discount to Sale④ the rewards pop-up will display a list of available rewards on their account. ⑤ Click Redeem next to the reward you want to apply. |
Step 4: Complete the Sale⑥ Proceed as normal to accept payment and complete the sale. Once the sale is complete, the customer will receive points per dollar spent, and any rewards or points used will be removed from their account. |
Attaching Customers From a Paired TapMango Tablet
This method attaches customers to a sale when they sign in on a TapMango tablet that's been paired to your Toast register. The cashier does not need to look up accounts directly from Toast.
| Note: We can only pair one tablet to one Toast register. Multiple tablets to one register, or multiple registers to one tablet, will not work. |
Step 1: Ask Customer to Sign into TapMango Tablet① The customer can sign in before or during the sale. What's important is that they sign in before you proceed to payment. There are three ways a customer can sign in to the tablet:

Step 2: Attach the Customer From Toast② Navigate to Rewards > Lookup on Toast to open the rewards pop-up. ③ Enter your quick search code (usually 00) and select Done. The customer will be attached to the sale.
