How Do I Make TapMango Discounts Appear On My Lightspeed (X-Series) Register?
To apply TapMango rewards directly from the register, they will need to be discount mapped to your Lightspeed inventory.
If you create a TapMango discount and do not add discount mapping, you will not see these discounts available on the register. They will only be visible on the customer sign-in tablet.
Each product/category in your inventory will have an associated Lightspeed ID and these ID's are what we use to map rewards and vouchers so that they correctly apply to a sale.
This guide will cover the types of discounts available to create with the Lightspeed integration and TapMango.
Adding Discount Mapping

1. Log into your Portal account and go to the Rewards menu or Vouchers menu. You may either create a new reward or voucher OR choose an existing one to edit.
2. Click the Discounts tab and then the Add Discount button to create the discount mapping. |

3. On the Integration dropdown, select your LSX integration.

Choosing Your Discount Type
Depending on the discount type you've selected, additional settings will appear to customize how the discount works!

Product Discounts (% or $) The Product Discount type applies a percentage or dollar value off specific items (based on discount mapping). All non-qualifying items in the cart will be ignored. Selecting this discount type will open the "Applies To" section, which houses the product and category mapping fields. Here you will add the specific Lightspeed item ID's of the items you want the discount to apply to.
↪ Applies ToHere you will specify which products or categories a reward or voucher will apply to. Separate multiple IDs with a comma. Note: You can not map a single reward/voucher to both products and categories. It can be either multiple products or multiple categories. Click on the🔍icon next to either Category or Product fields to open up a list of your available inventory. Click Add for every item you want the discount to apply to. ↪ Does Not Applies ToHere you can specify which items to EXCLUDE. This is helpful if a discount applies to an entire category, but there are 4-5 products in that category that shouldn't be included in the discount. ↪ Usage LimitsApplies to a single item • No or Yes • By default, this setting is No and the discount will apply to every item in the sale matching the Product or Category ID mapping. If "Applies to Highest Value Item" is set to Yes: • Product Discount (Percentage): ALL applicable items will be discounted by the set % • Product Discount (Amount): the discount will never deduct more than the total discount value. ↪ Minimum RequirementThe Minimum Requirement section allows you to set a minimum purchase amount OR minimum quantity of items. This applies to the entire order and the reward or voucher can't be redeemed unless the order meets the minimum requirement set. |

Overall Discounts Overall Discounts apply a percentage or $ amount to the entire sale and can't be restricted to specific products or categories. But you can set a Minimum Requirement.

How to Redeem on Lightspeed(X-Series)
Once the cashier clicks "Pay" on the register, the Rewards popup will appear. The Cashier can either select a discount or skip to move on to the payment screen.
