Vouchers Are Different Than Rewards
 |
Unlike traditional rewards that cost points, vouchers are electronic coupons issued to customers. How a customer receives a voucher is up to you. Some of the default ways your customers would get a voucher:
- As a sign up bonus
- On a customer's birthday
- For a we miss you campaign
Vouchers are created under the vouchers section.

Types of Vouchers
|
|
There are two main types of Vouchers to select from, Loyalty and Marketing. How you want to run your campaign will determine which type to use:
|
Loyalty
|
Loyalty vouchers are assigned to customer accounts via campaigns, quick campaigns, or manually.
After creating a Loyalty voucher, customers won't see it available for redemption until it is assigned to their account AND it's within the validity period of the voucher. Loyalty vouchers may only be redeemed once (1 time) unless multiple vouchers are assigned and can only be assigned to existing loyalty accounts.

-
Assign a voucher through a campaign: The most common way of providing a voucher is through a campaign. You determine what goal/objective a customer must complete to trigger the campaign to automatically assign the customer a voucher.
-
Winning a voucher through Instant Win: When a customer checks into the TapMango tablet, they have the chance to win a prize. You can create an instant win that provides a voucher to your customer - you decide the prize (voucher) and you set the odds of winning
- Purchasing Vouchers: Customers can pre-purchase products or services and receive vouchers for future redemptions. Here are some ways that a customer could purchase a voucher from you:
-
A pre-purchase campaign: Your customer buys a product, and is assigned multiple vouchers for doing so
-
Through a Gift Card: You can load your branded key chain tags with wallet dollars, points, and vouchers. This means they can come into your store, and ask to buy a gift card with a product voucher, instead of just a dollar amount
-
Through an Instant Deal: Your customer can purchase a voucher online from their phone or computer. Instant Deal enables you to receive cash flow before they have even came in store to pick up their product
|
Marketing
|
Marketing vouchers are the most similar to Rewards and are not assigned to a customer's account for use.
Unlike Loyalty vouchers that must be assigned to an account Marketing vouchers can be available immediately depending on the validity period and group restrictions you set. Marketing vouchers can be configured to allow for multiple redemptions within the validity period.
